On 26 February 2018, Reddie & Grose LLP attorneys hosted our second annual open day for trainee examiners from the UK Intellectual Property Office. We were also joined this year by examiners from the Japanese Patent Office.
It was a great opportunity for both attorneys and examiners to exchange information and improve lines of communication. The examiners attended a number of different study sessions, including discussions on inventive step and claim drafting, while attorneys in our London and Cambridge offices were able to pose questions to the examiners about their office practices.
