Robin Ellis joins Reddie & Grose Munich office

01/07/2019

Robin Ellis, a European Patent Attorney with 13 years’ experience of the generic pharmaceutical industry, joins Reddie & Grose GmbH as a partner.

Robin is a qualified European Patent Attorney and a British and German national who has been based in Germany for the last 13 years working in-house for the generic pharmaceutical division of a multinational corporation. He supported all areas of the business, from product development and in-licencing to commercial operations and launch management. The nature of the business meant that Robin’s work focussed on more contentious matters such as freedom to operate assessments, due diligence, licence negotiations, oppositions before the European Patent Office and managing launch and litigation strategies in European and non-European jurisdictions. For five years Robin supported the pharmaceutical company’s respiratory business before he moved to his final role as head of the global small molecule patent team.

Robin’s appointment comes at a time of expansion for Reddie & Grose, and Jan Vleck, Managing Director, Reddie & Grose GmbH commented: “We are delighted to welcome Robin at a time when the firm is investing in life sciences and growing the team in Continental Europe”.
