Today, 17 February 2023, the German government has ratified the UPC agreement. This means that the three-month Sunrise Period will begin on 1 March 2023, i.e. less than two weeks from now, during which an early opt-out request can be filed, and that the UPC system will enter into operation on 1 June 2023.
