Reddie & Grose promotes three attorneys to Senior Associate

Reddie & Grose are delighted to announce a trio of promotions. These promotions, which took effect on Saturday 1st April 2023, recognise the talent and expertise in intellectual property law across a range of market sectors, and follow the recent appointment of Dr Simon Lud as a Partner at the firm.

Meet the new senior associates:

Ally Orrin (left), Joshua Parsi (middle), Bruce Torrance (right)

Ally Orrin

Ally joined Reddie & Grose in September 2022 and has worked extensively with a range of innovators across different technical fields, presenting legal and technical arguments and providing guidance for proceedings before the UK High Court and the UK Court of Appeal.

She has an academic background in materials science and engineering from Imperial College London, where she was awarded the Governor’s MEng prize in materials and the IOM3 RH Craven award.

Joshua Parsi

Joshua joined Reddie & Grose in 2015 and has a wealth of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in many different technical fields before the UK and European patent offices, with further experience handling complex EPO oppositions and appeals.

He has a Masters in Aeronautical Science from Imperial College London and through his academic experience can assist clients in fields such as aerospace, medical devices and consumer products. He was twice included in the Dean’s list for Academic Excellence during his studies.

Bruce Torrance

Bruce joined Reddie & Grose in September 2015 after working as a secondary school science teacher for two years. He is a dual-qualified patent attorney with experience of drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the UK, Europe and further afield for clients ranging from individual inventors to large multinationals.

His practice covers many technical fields including electronics, telecommunications and semiconductors, as well as work in digital health and greentech.
