We are pleased to announce that Reddie & Grose LLP has been ranked as one of the UK’s tier one patent attorney firms in the 2013 Legal 500 rankings.
The Legal 500 is an annual ranking of legal services providers from more than 100 countries. After undertaking a rigorous interview and research process with clients, colleagues and industry experts, it then ranks firms in a number of tiers.
It is this peer and client polling process that makes recognition by the Legal 500 all the more meaningful to us. As such, to those clients and colleagues involved in this process, we would like to thank you for your kind words and support.
Here is what the Legal 500 has to say about our patents team:
‘Reddie & Grose LLP’s ‘excellent’ team continues to manage patent portfolios for longstanding clients such as Philip Morris International, Vestas Wind Systems and the BBC. New client wins include Skyworks, Wonga Technologies and TalkTalk. Patrick Lloyd recently carried out global patent due diligence work for Ladbrokes in connection with its acquisition of Betdaq, and Phil Bates was successful at appeal in revoking a European patent for a well-known pharmaceuticals company. Simon Goodman is also recommended.’
As well as the accolade bestowed upon our patents team, our trade marks team is equally deserving of praise. We are pleased to announce that we have been ranked in tier two for trade marks, which also places us amongst the top firms in the country.
Here is what the Legal 500 has to say about our trade marks team:
‘Reddie & Grose LLP’s ‘highly regarded’ trade mark team manages global portfolios for major names such as Kimberly-Clark, Royal Mail Group and John Lewis. Linda Harland is acting for The Light Hotel in an ongoing dispute, while Cambridge-based Simon Goodman is advising automotive engineering firm Cosworth on extending the protection of its main trade mark.’
