Hannah Brace is a trainee patent attorney and a member of the Life Sciences team. Hannah joined Reddie & Grose in September 2023 after completing her doctoral degree in Inorganic and Materials Chemistry at the University of Bristol.
Her research focused on creating artificial cell-mimicking entities and establishing collective behaviours within cell-like micro-colonies. She was particularly interested in using microfluidics and hydrogels for spatially segregating artificial cell-like consortia. Her work is published under H. Taylor, e202300932.
Prior to her PhD, Hannah studied Chemistry with a Year in Industry, also, at the University of Bristol. Her year in Industry was undertaken at Infineum and involved a research study into fuel conductivity additives.
In her spare time Hannah enjoys going to the cinema, running, and eating pastries!
