Jack Parsons joined Reddie & Grose in September 2024 after graduating from the University of Bath with a first class Master’s degree in Integrated Design and Mechanical Engineering.
Whilst at University, Jack was part of a team that developed an affordable groundwater detection system that utilised electrical resistivity. The aim of this project was to help more rural communities in South Africa gain access to clean drinking water. He was also heavily involved in multiple robotic projects whilst at University and focussed his studies on machine vision and autonomous systems. As part of his degree at Bath, Jack spent a year in industry specialising in the research and development of electric drivetrain solutions.
Jack was captain of the Bath Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (BEAMEs) football team and still plays today with the firm’s five a side team.
In his spare time, Jack loves all things sports and regularly plays football, tennis, padel, and golf (when he has the time).
