Sam Pfeffer-Matthews is a trainee patent attorney within the Electronics, Electrical devices and Software group.
Sam joined Reddie & Grose in September 2023 having completed an integrated master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Warwick.
At university, Sam’s undergraduate research utilised novel fabrication techniques to create 3C-Silicon Carbide suspended microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) for use in harsh environments applications. Other summer research projects included the in-situ instrumentation of smart battery cells for EV applications, and the design and construction of a metal Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) system.
Outside of work, Sam is an avid Whitewater kayaker and can often be found travelling across the country to various river rapids. When river levels are running low, Sam loves baking cakes, playing the piano, visiting art galleries, and enjoying board games with friends.
