Stefan is a trainee patent attorney in the electronics, electrical devices and software team.
Stefan joined Reddie & Grose in 2024 after completing an integrated master’s degree in Physics from the University of Durham and a PhD in Quantum Physics from Imperial College London.
His PhD research focused on using lasers to measure whether the electron is slightly lopsided – a sign of hidden particles in the universe. During his PhD, Stefan developed a method to measure the shape of an electron inside molecules trapped in a magneto-optical trap (a way of trapping molecules using a combination of laser light and magnetic fields). Alongside his research, Stefan enjoyed writing popular science articles on all things quantum.
Outside of work, Stefan keeps himself busy by playing (at mostly a mediocre level) a large variety of sports including tennis, football, climbing and ultimate frisbee.
